Miki Gilbert Ngwaneh (Founder & CEO of VCID)
Miki is a consultant and holds an MA in International Development, Postgraduate Diploma in Development Management, Postgraduate Certificate in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor of Education in Geography. He has over 10 years of professional experience in project management, organisational/institutional development, proposal development, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, rights-based approaches to development, and training/workshop facilitation.
He has experience working with the African Development Bank project (GP-DERUDEP) as a community development facilitator; German International Cooperation as Monitoring and Evaluation Volunteer and Plan International, Cameroon as monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator respectively. He is currently a member of the Expert Group Meeting on Global Land Tool Network facilitated by UN-Habitat and the World Bank on Land Governance and the post 2015 development agenda consultative process.
He has also served as a consultant with Cameroon Development Cooperation, German International Cooperation, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), African Sisters’ Education Collaborative sponsored by Hilton Foundation, Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance (CDVTA) sponsored by DFID and Sustainable Integrated Balanced Development Foundation (Sponsored by the European Union). Miki was one of the international delegates for the First UN World Data Forum and is currently the Country Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Nascent Solutions Inc.
He has conducted a range of consultancies notably: Evaluation studies, baseline surveys, strategic plan development, project and programme development as well as facilitated a series of corporate trainings. Miki joins the Government of Cameroon to drive across innovations in the field of vocational Education and Training within the framework of International Development.
