Vocational Centre for International Development
The Vocational Centre for International Development (VCID) is recognized as a centre of excellence for vocational research and for the progressive development of vocational education and training (VET) in Cameroon. VCID works to identify future challenges in VET,help me with my research papers examples of essays about character and citizenship for national junior honor society stimulate innovation in national and international vocational systems, and develop new, practice-oriented solutions for both initial and continuing vocational education and training needs.
VCID was founded in 2015 on the basis of skill-based training for development workers and in 2017; VCID was officially authorized by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training to champion and revitalize policy, research and practice in the field of vocational education and training. VCID is authorized by Order No. 382/MINEFOP/SG/DFOP/SDGSF/SACD of 25 AUGUST 2017 as a Private Intensive Vocational Training Centre.
The roots of the Vocational Centre for International Development lie in the many years of providing on-the-job training to international NGOs, corporations and financial institutions. In VCID, we pride ourselves in the long working relationships mainly on the basis of consultancies. After operating over the years as a consulting agency, we saw the need to institutionalize our workshop modules and further flesh them out to meet the needs of a diverse public while still creating space for tailored-made programmes as well as critical vocational skill areas.
